Appearance:

Koorimizu is a straight steel blade. It reaches 73 cm in lenght and is the traditional width and thickness. The blade itself is bright steel and perfectly straight. The hilt is another matter. It is hand-and-half length and is slightly curved. The hilt guard is a tinted gold color and the hilt a mixture of white and dark blue. The tip of the hilt is a faded gold like the hilt guard. The sheeth is a dark blue and has golden symbols of the Village hidden in the Mist stationed at odd intervals.

Weapon Position: Koorimizu is positioned on Kai's back most of the time. Slanted from left hip to right shoulder. When he is dressed in his Mizukage attire it is hidden at his hip. Both of these places are suitable for quick access for a battle.

Description: When Kai Hyoton became a Jounin for the Village Hidden in the Mist he knew he needed a weapon to accomadate his abilities. That being said Kai traveled far, almost all over the Water Country, to find the perfect weapon. On day, near the Village of Dew (So made that Village up..) Kai found an old man sitting near a nearby lake. Perched upon his lap was a long Katana. The icy blue hilt and silver steel instantly caught Kai's attention. And at that moment he knew he wanted it. Kai then walked up to the old man and demanded he have the weapon. The old man simply smiled and said that the weapon, Koori he called it, wansnt ment for someone like him. Kai was furious, how dare the old man judge him. So at that moment Kai used his Kekkei Genkai. He commanded the water in the lake to rise up and form a think mist. After the mist was created Kai drew a single kunai knife. Needless to say Kai left the small village with Koori in his hand. Kai uses Koori almost every change he can. While he does like his Jutsu ans his blood line ability using Koori during battle is even more satisfieing. Mostly used for drawn out battles Kai will sometime use them for quick assissnations. Only when he feels the urge to play that is.
