Personality: Saru, is an underastandable kage, he was raised within Otogakure, for a long time, so he is very wise. Saru, in general, is a calm, brave, honrable, ruthless...ect ninja. Saru never hides his true personality, unless necessary, and he never seems to change it, unless that is also necessary.

Special Characteristics: Saru, certainly has many special characteristics, he tends to keep them hidden, and generally does. Saru was born with excessive intellectual ability, as well as an abnormally high IQ, which makes him quite brilliant, as a leader, and as a ninja. Saru, also is capable of getting through any locked door, as well as playing mind tricks with others. Saru is also extremely good at disguising himself, for he trained for it for a very long time.

Pet: Saru finds having pets a nuisance, since they require much duty, when there are other, more important things that he needs to be focused on.

Kekke Gekkei: The Whispering Eye or "Shizugan", which enables the user, depending on what level he/she is, to actually see sound waves perfectly, making it impossible for any opponent to sneak up on you, or attempt assassination, without a fight. Also, each person makes different sound waves, so it would be hard to avoid it, or evade it, without getting caught somehow...

History: Saru's father was a former rule of the Land of Sound. While, Saru's father, Mitaharu Monogatari, was the feudal lord, he was just as much, a Kage, which was an extremely rare case, that practically has never happened before. Of course though, Mitaharu, would not share this information, with his bodyguards, or his military, or even his cousins and family, this was how stealthy he was, luckily due to the Shizugan, he was capable of sencing anyone within meters of him, or sight, so that was useful, to no one finding out. Saru woke up one morning, only to witness a shadow, reflect on the wall, of the starry wall, glowing due to a beautiful night. Saru, of course was a naiive child, since he was only 3 years old. But, Saru did in fact witness his father, in Kage Robing, shrouded by the darkness of the night. Mitaharu was the only one at the time, that knew of the Shizugan, so Saru was not capable of harnessing it, since he had no clue what it was. Mitaharu, knew that his son was watching him, he knew that he could not hide it from his only son, the heir to the Oto no Kuni, practically. Mitaharu, then told his son about himself, so, he brought his son, to the secret village Otogakure, the people living there were all so suprised, since it was new for the Kage, to blaitently arrive at night, with guests. This is when Saru, chose he would like to become a ninja like his old and wise father...

Saru, at the age of three, then started to learn about ninjutsu, taijutsu, kenjutsu, and genjutsu. As the young child, grew into a young man, his father introduced Kinjutsu, and many other ways of fighting, and the rules and regulations behind the jutsu, how to counter them, teaching his son to master the cycle of elements, all the important resources a great ninja needs. Saru, was top in his rank, and he became a Jounin at age, 12 which is extremely impressive at that age. Around age 14, he had almost mastered his clan's kekke gekkei, his father was his sensei through all of this, and still the Kage, for a very long time. At around age 16 Saru chose to become an ANBU member, and he went on many S and A rank missions with fellow squad members, this is when he witnessed many death, chaos, destruction, lust and many other horrible or great things. It made Saru into an extremely accurate, disciplined, ruthless and generally mature ninja.

However, once Saru reached the age of 18, his father was mysteriously killed, and Saru still never found out how that could have happened, as a prince of the land, and heir to becoming the next feudal lord, after his father's mysterious death... Saru chose the path of a ninja, instead of a noble, and he faked his death, causing every normal civilian, and even his own family, to mourn for the father and son's "apparent" death, so he decided to have his own place, in Otogakure, which is currently a hidden building. After a couple more years went by, during the process of finding a new Kage, senior ninja of Otogakure, decided they would hold a competition, a ruthless one indeed, something that his father never would have chosen to do for a high rank, as Kage... A battle of elite ninja, who were craving for such a duty, such power, and experience, as well as authority, in general. Saru only did it, because everyone that was taking part in the competition, was not truly right for the influence and power of the Kage, they were all imbeciles, who lusted for power, but they were each A-S rank ninja at the time.

After several battles, that completely costed alot of chakra, the senior ninja finally declared a winner, and the winner was Saru. Now Saru, tries to lead a peaceful yet dutiful life, as Kage, but since there are many worldly affairs, and larger nations are begginning to get stronger, and starting to crave for more land, the Kage, has strategically developed several new laws, making Otogakure, much stronger then it appears, to any Ninja outside of Otogakure.

A few years later, after getting used to the Kage position, Saru decided to study up on making his own powerful jutsu, as well as discover further forbidden techniques, that he may need to resort to, in order to protect the Land of Sound. Usually in meetings and all, with the feudal lord, who is currently one of Saru's older cousins, Saru must wear his Kage robes, and his true nature, his cousin may know about him, but he is quite unsure.

Saru, also prefers wondering the land, and freely going where he wishes to, as "other" people, since his hunger for knowledge never ends, although he has created many procedures, in case anything happens while he is gone, as well as having the council of Otogakure, the senior A-S rank ninja, advise the hidden village while he is gone, Otogakure, is surely one of the most secretive ninja villages of its time, and very complicated to find, very "silent"...

Saru had his pointer finger, and thumb placed lightly against his wide, and circular Kage hat, which made him look like a shady and wise character, indeed. "Hmm, a nice day we have in the Land of Rice Paddies..." Saru said, calmly, as he observed the wind, and how it carried the grass with it. The wind smoothly blew up against Sary, as he concentrated his wind elemental chakra, lightly through his body. "It is pleasant weather, pleasant indeed..." Saru said, speaking calmly, and wisely to himself, his weaponry was always cloaked under his very formal robes. Saru had purposely worn his Kage robe today, so that he could annihilate any person within the Land of Sound, wishing to assassinate him, he did this daily, but usually became more secretive about it, it was apart of that hidden ruthlessness he had deep within him.

All the sudden an old woman came walking up to him, very calmly, she didn't say a word, and she appeared to be carrying a large basket with rice stored in it. "Why hello ma'am..." Saru said, very suspiciously. "Where could an old woman like yourself be headed to in this time of day with the rice, you do realize, the fields and cottages are that way." Saru pointed in the opposite direction, the old women seemed quite poor, and she could be freely sending rice to her house, but normally when a person does that, they are less formal, and quiet. The old women walked right pass him. "Excuse me miss? Will you not give me some slight explanation?" Saru said, not getting even more paranoid, of this suspiciousness. The old women didn't say a word, and walked right pass him. Saru quickly turned around. "Ma'am, that was quite impolite of you..." He said, but then he noticed she had dissapeared, along with the flow of the wind. "Hmm... Perhaps a genjutsu?" Saru said, in his wise tone of voice. An echo was heard from afar... "Hmph, I have trapped you, Kage, you are now weak... This is an A rank genjutsu, I'd love to see you release from this...!" A woman's voice had said. "You underestimate me, perhaps, to the very least?" Saru said, curiously now. All the sudden he saw a womans figure appear in front of him, the whole scenery just left the rice fields, and went black, with shades of red. "Is this your trick? To manipulate me, so simply?" Saru had asked. "No, you're a fool... You are not worthy of that rank, of Kage..." The woman had said, all the sudden the hazy figure of a woman, began to multiply. "This is getting quite troublesome..." Saru said. "I will not allow you to get any further..." Saru had added.

"You may try old man!" The woman said. All the sudden, Saru suprisingly activated his Shizugan, and could now see all the vibrations of the real duplication, as well as see where the actual person who had put him in this genjutsu was placed.

Saru whipped out his kunai, from under his robe, he had alot more ninja tools stored under there, but only pulled out one, it was all he sensed he would need. Since his opponent most likely had no clue about him. "I may not be able to escape the genjutsu, but shall I reverse it?" Saru had asked sarcastically. "What?!" The woman said furiously. "Shadow clonse jutsu!" Saru said, now two of the same figures were shaped perfectly, of the original. "I am still mobile in this genjutsu, that is where you lack..." Saru said wisely, with all his clones at once, they each seperated. One headed straight to the user's vibration of sound, the other headed to the users, main duplication with the genjutsu, and the other started to battle it out with the several clones of the woman, as to give the others time. Saru randomly placed his hand out as if he was grabbing something, the real Saru was actually grabbing where the woman was supposedly placed. "Get off me, you freak!" The woman said angrily. All the sudden the other clone threw a few shuriken at the duplication of the woman, that had created the others by suprise, instantly, the original copy within the genjutsu, had died away. The other copies soon followed, and the womans plan was flawed.

"RELEASE!" Saru said, as he placed his hands in the formation, proper for escaping a genjutsu. All the sudden the black and red scenery, had turned back into the rice fields, and the blue sky, as well as the wind. The original Saru was still holding on tightly to the woman. She was expecting this, and has a kunai struck directly at Saru's chest. "Got you, you fool!" The woman had said. Then she noticed the smoke, and the log, it was a substitution. "No, young lady, I have you!" Saru said, as he was atop a tree branch, the woman was already weakened by the amount of chakra she had to use to maintain the genjutsu, that she was not expecting for the Kage to get out of so easily. "Raiko slicer jutsu!" Saru had said, as he lunged his left arms elbow back quickly, then dashed forward, and charged his left arm directly at the weakened Kunoichi.

Blood spewed everywhere, as the lightning shaped like a blade, stabbed right through the strong woman. Her eyes went wide open, and Saru had his left hand covered in blood, from sticking the lightning through her chest. "This is what happens, when you are to young to be challenging an S rank, you were absolutely confused, by your own ability..." Saru said to the cold body sadly.

All the sudden an innocent man, walked up to the womans body, which was mysteriously lying there covered in blood. "GATHER THE MILITARY, OR THE FORCE, OR WHATEVER! THERE IS A DEAD WOMAN OVER HERE!" The man had yelled in the direction of a nearby village.

The wind blew quietly, and Saru's sound, slowly died away, he flowed pleasantly with the wind...

The General Jutsu Used: (He knows more, but it would take forever to list every single one of them...)
Bringer Of Darkness Technique: This jutsu makes the target think that they are surrounded by total darkness, allowing the user to attack unseen.
Death Forseeing Technique: This jutsu is much like the Temporary Paralysis Technique, but paralyzes the foe by showing them a vision of their own gruesome death. In addition to the paralysis, the enemy is overwhelmed with fear, and can suffer severe mental stress.
False Surrounding Technique: This jutsu changes the appearance of a nearby object or area.
Hell Viewing Technique: This jutsu causes the target to see a horrifying vision. First, an imaginary circle of leaves will spin around and envelop the target, falling away shortly after. After a short period, the illusion will begin.
Temple of Nirvana Technique: This jutsu causes everyone within a specific area to fall into a deep sleep. From the target's point of view, it seems as if feathers are falling from the sky.
Descending Hell Technique: This jutsu creates the illusion of a tremendous ball of fire in the sky, which then crashes onto a designated area. Anyone in the area will instinctively flee.
Double False Surroundings Technique: This jutsu places another illusion on top of a previous illusion created by the user. If and when the target dispels the first illusion, they will not realize that a second is in place.
Transformation Technique: This jutsu allows the user to assume the appearance of another person, animal, or object.
Substitution Jutsu: Replaces the shinobi being attacked with an object nearby to that shinobi, it is normally done quickly, and it can be easier then it seems at times.
Summoning Technique: These jutsu uses a contract, hand seals, and the user's blood to summon an animal or weapon from another dimension, which usually manifests once the ninja summoner strikes his hand against any surface, after which the specific summon will appear. As an alternative to the normal hand seals, the same contract that appears on the ground during the summoning can be drawn by hand and activated, producing the same result. The type of animal summoned is determined by the contract. The blood is used as a signature to make the contract, which can be written on a scroll or tattoo, valid. Once summoned, the animal can perform a task or help the user in battle.
Shadow Clone Technique: Similar to the Clone Technique, this jutsu creates clones of the user. Unlike the Clone Technique, these clones are actual copies, not illusions. The user's chakra is evenly distributed among every clone, giving each clone an equal fraction of the user's overall power. The clones are capable of performing jutsu on their own and can even bleed, but will usually disperse after one or two solid blows. They can also disperse on their own. Unlike other clones, they can't be detected by the Byakugan because the clones have the exact same amount of chakra and aren't made from any other substance, making them indistinguishable from the actual person.
Living Corpse Reincarnation: This jutsu, developed by Orochimaru, allows him to transfer the user's mind to someone else's body. If repeated periodically, it basically grants the user immortality as long as the user can find new host bodies. The user can only perform this technique once every three years. It also seems that when the three years are almost over, he is forced to move into another host, as the previous one begins to reject him. Presumably, if he had a proper container, he could stay in the host for a full lifetime.
Attack Prevention Technique: Using this jutsu, the user can merge with another object and take on its properties to avoid any damage.
Extreme Decapitating Air Ways: A more powerful version of the Decapitating Air Wave, the user creates a massive gust of cutting wind capable of totaling the surrounding area, wiping out anything in its path.
Exploding Tag: Activate: Utilizing chakra, the user is able to activate the explosion mechanism of a distant bomb tag.
Dead Soul Technique: Using this jutsu, a person can temporarily reanimate a corpse, creating the illusion of a living person. This is achieved by causing the heart to beat once more, allowing the user to control the corpse. The reanimated corpse can serve as either a short-time ally or an effective decoy.
Clone Great Explosion: This jutsu works in combination with the Shadow Clone Technique to create a shadow clone that will explode on command. The blast created is considerable, and could potentially kill an attacker engaged in hand-to-hand combat.
Body Flicker Technique: This jutsu is a high-speed movement technique, allowing a ninja to move short-long distances at an almost untraceable speed. To an observer, it appears as if the user has teleported. A puff of smoke is occasionally used to disguise the user's movements. It is accomplished by using chakra to temporarily boost the user's reflexes. The amount of chakra required depends on the overall distance between the user and their intended destination.
Blade of Wind: This jutsu creates a blade of wind. The blade is said to be impossible to block because of its intangible nature.
